This course in short:
- 12 online lessons via Zoom (12 lessons x 2 hours)
- Guarantee of small group of 5-7 course participants
- Access to virtual classroom with all necessary course materials
- You will use the ‘Nederlands in gang’ book during the A1-A2 course. (Note: Price of the book: €48,50 is not included in the price of the course. This course covers chapters 10-18 of the book)
- Practice speaking, writing, listening and reading
- Access to online flashcards in Quizlet
- Actively participate in each class
- Certificate A2: Based on passing the test
Price: €389 (€16.21 per hour)
Book: Nederlands in gang (price: €48,50. The book is not included in the price of the course). This book is also used during the level 1 Dutch course for beginners (A0-A1), during which we cover chapters 1-9.
Dutch Course Level A1-A2 Curriculum
Topics (among others) you will learn about:
- Work, studies and interests
- How to talk about past events using past tenses
- Asking and giving an opinion
- Reflexive verbs and their conjugations
- Using of 'er' en 'daar' in sentences
- Conjunctions (hoewel, omdat, want etc.)
- Travelling
- Signing up for a gym
- Contacting the police and reporting theft
- Going to the cinema
- Asking for and giving directions

Students who have completed A2 Dutch level can communicate effectively and confidently when it comes to basic topics such as: shopping, going to a restaurant, going to a doctor or travelling. Students at level A2 can also talk about themselves, their studies, work, interests and they can ask for and give opinions about basic topics and events. A2 level Dutch speakers are also able to describe events using past tenses.
Yes, we organise group courses at higher levels, both corporate courses and individual courses.
Our courses take place via the Zoom platform. You can use Zoom on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. In order to use all functionalities of Zoom and maximise participation in the classes, we recommend downloading Zoom onto your laptop or computer.
There are 5 to 7 students participating in a group course. We guarantee classes in small groups to help you get the most out of the class, engage with other students and motivate each other. In the course we also use the book Nederlands in gang.
