Learn Dutch with our online course for beginners, designed to help you master the essentials of the language from the comfort of your home. The classes take place online via Zoom and are given in small groups of 5 to 9 students.

Level 1: Dutch Course for beginners (A0-A1)
The course A0-A1 is intended for absolute beginners. All lessons take place online via Zoom.
Our experienced Dutch teachers provide interactive lessons and a supportive environment, ensuring that you progress quickly and confidently in mastering the Dutch language.
This course in short:
- 12 online lessons via Zoom (12 lessons x 2 hours)
- Guarantee of small group of 5-9 course participants
- Access to virtual classroom with all necessary course materials
- You will use the ‘Nederlands in gang’ book during the A0-A1 course and during the subsequent level 2 course (A1-A2). (Note: Price of the book: € 51,50, is not included in the price of the course)
- Practice speaking, writing, listening and reading
- Access to online flashcards in Quizlet
- You will receive various materials about Dutch culture
- Actively participate in each class
- Certificate A1: Based on passing the test

Dutch Course for beginners (A0-A1) Curriculum
After completion of our Level 1 Dutch course for beginners (A0-A1) you will be able to understand and use basic phrases and confidently communicate in everyday situations. You will learn how to introduce yourself, ask and answer simple questions about personal information (e.g., where you live, what you do), and interact in a simple way. At level A1, you can handle basic vocabulary and structures like using plural forms, conjugating verbs and creating simple sentences.
Topics (among others) you will learn:
- The Dutch alphabet, basics of spelling and pronunciation
- Numbers, days of the week, months, colours
- How to introduce yourself and talk about yourself, things you like and do
- Reacting to a proposal and making suggestions
- Family
- Home and housing: type of housing, rooms, furniture and buying a house
- Grocery and clothes shopping
- Going to a restaurant
- Meeting with friends
- Visiting a doctor and describing your health problems

A great way to start learning Dutch. I started from the scratch, and after the A1 course I can definitely see the progress. The teacher, Steven, is very kind and always willing to help with any doubts that arise when learning a new language. I recommend it! I will continue with the A2 level.

I recently completed a Dutch language course A2+ and starting B1 –> I would highly recommend it! The classes are well -structured, engaging, and focused on practical communication skills. Michelle is one of the best teacher I’ve ever had!

I am very pleased with my Dutch language course. The online one-on-one lessons with the teacher were conducted in a friendly atmosphere (greetings to Ms. Dorota), and the collaboration was excellent! I learned a lot and managed to reach the next level of my language proficiency – I’m already starting the next course. I also know that group classes are available, and my colleagues who are also taking the courses are equally satisfied. I definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn Dutch quickly and effectively.

It’s been a while since my previous review, and I can confidently say that after completing the next level, my opinion hasn’t changed – I’m still very pleased with the course. The classes continue to be conducted in a great atmosphere, and the teacher is able to explain even the most difficult concepts clearly and patiently. Thanks to regular lessons, I see significant progress in my Dutch and feel increasingly confident in everyday situations. I also greatly appreciate the individual approach and well-organized classes. I am happy to continue my studies and highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to effectively develop their Dutch.

Great language school, teacher Michelle was very nice, clear in instructions and she was passing the knowledge in an effective and coherent way. The lessons were focused on speaking, so it helped me to gain confidence during conversations. Communication with the school was also very easy and clear, I would recommend it to everyone!

I definitely recommend this school to everybody. I had lessons with a teacher Michelle Berlijn. In my opinion the best teacher I could have. Lessons were interesting, I also learnt the dutch language in a funny way so it was not boring at all.

Yes, we organise group courses at higher levels, both corporate courses and individual courses.
Our courses take place via the Zoom platform. You can use Zoom on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. In order to use all functionalities of Zoom and maximise participation in the classes, we recommend downloading Zoom onto your laptop or computer.
There are 5 to 9 students participating in a group course. We guarantee classes in small groups to help you get the most out of the class, engage with other students and motivate each other. In the course we also use the book Nederlands in gang.
Please go to the sign-up form on our website and select preferred course dates to enrol for the course. You will receive an email with payment details. You can pay for the course using a payment link in the email or via the bank transfer.
